MICHAEL VONG
More than 40 years working in a wide spectrum of industries in manufacturing, logistics, men’s fashion apparels, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and glass containers, FMCG and retail.
Core understanding of consumer behavior and what drives demand in retail centres, and the ability to translate the breadth of experience into practical strategies that clients can implement quickly.
Managed shopping centre operations from final development phase of construction through to launch and day-to-day operations.
Worked with multi-cultural teams and property developers in Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia
• In Malaysia worked as General Manager, Shopping Centre for Mesra Mall, part of the Suria KLCC group of shopping centres.
• In Vietnam, part of CBRE Vietnam retail team providing retail services.
• Centre management, consulting services to retail developers in the region.
• In Myanmar, with Citymart Holdings, managing 24 retail centers across the country.
• In Cambodia, with Chip Mong Retail, a subsidiary company of the Chip Mong Group.
GARY LAM
Gary has of 16 years of experience in retail space planning, conceptualization, positioning, leasing and marketing of Retail Centers.
With extensive overseas experience in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, China, Gary had a portfolio of 24 retail centers in Myanmar.
After moving to Cambodia, as the Head of Chip Mong Marketing Department, Gary has been the forefront of launching Chip Mongs’ leading projects including Chip Mong Noro Mall and Chip Mong Bak Touk Center.
Sereyen HAK
Sereyen has years of experience in retail leasing space planning and design. She specializes rental rates evaluation and lease negotiations. Prior to joining Grow Retail Asia, Sereyen headed the Chip Mong Retail Leasing Department.
Sereyen has an extensive history in mediation and is an experienced market researcher enabling Sereyen to compile the ideal tenants list for your development.
This retail leasing experience, combined with her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engingeering, qualified Sereyen to have hands – on –involvement in both the retail leasing and fit out coordination in Aeon 1 and Aeon 2 Retail Mall developments in Phnom Penh .

KERRY MORTON
With over 20 years’ experience in the retail environment, working with major Property Management companies Jones Lang LaSalle, Savills and CBRE along with major Institutional and Property Developments owners.
Throughout my career in Retail Shopping Centres, I have been engaged by some of Australia’s, Cambodia’s & Vietnam’s leading Property and Investment Companies to consult on their flagship retail properties and portfolios.
Predominantly my experience is within the retail environment in Australia and with international developers in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
MARK MORTON
Over the last two decades, Mark has dealt at the executive level consulting on the asset management of many of the regions major developments including two of Vietnam’s leading Urban Township and Mixed Use Commercial / Retail Centers, Australia’s largest local governments’ property portfolio and of some of Australia’s leading Hotels and Residential Resorts.
This experience extends to consulting with international developers in both Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, predominately on major mixed use projects incorporating Hotel, Retail, Residential and Commercial Precincts.
As a recognised International Retail Development Specialist, Michael is a much sort after commentator by Real Estate and Retail Industry publications.
